We are a "young" practice having been established in 2001 following the re-structuring of another group practice in the area.
We have a purpose-designed and re-modelled premises with features to help make a visit to "the doctor" somewhat more relaxing and less intimidating than in many busy medical clinics. There is a lovely garden to enjoy while waiting for your appointment.
** Please note if you require an appointment for children or other family members please phone the practice on 09 441 2352 **
Important: A 15 minute 'child appointment' booking under an adult name (via ConnectMed) may be acceptable but the fee will apply at the higher adult rate
We are planning to try and offer a telephone and/or video consultation service in later 2020-21. Details will be posted on our Facebook page (see below)
Enrolment forms are available on our website using the PDF Enrolment Form
If you think you could be entitled to a Community Card to enable much-reduced fees check out the MSD link as follows CSC Application form
New: We also have a secure direct enrolment facility which can be completed rapidly and available through your smartphone at ScreenRol via Smartphone Note that while this link can go through a desktop an on-screen signature is required
Laboratory results: Patients are advised they can access their results either by using this online portal, discussing with the clinic nurse at an appointment (nurse fees may apply) or by phone (no fees); or if complex by making another appointment with the doctor to discuss. Results will only be fully visible via portal once filed into your medical record by the clinician ordering the test (either nurse or doctor).
Doctors will often text patients with brief results (mostly for simple reassurance) and that will often also include imaging reports (xrays, ultrasound, CT and MRI).
